Rahel Kaltiso serves as Director of Membership and Member Services at Georgia Charter Schools Association. She is a native of Ethiopia and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia.
She earned her B.A. at Georgia State University and worked in the Middle and Secondary Education Department for several years. At GSU, she served as Vice-President of the Ethiopian Students Association where she developed and supported an active membership network of students and partners.
While earning her J.D. from Valparaiso University, she worked in youth court diversion programs intended to offer students an alternative to traditional juvenile justice and school disciplinary proceedings.
