The mission of The Savannah Classical Academy is “to provide every child with a classical and academically rigorous education while instilling a commitment to civic virtue and moral character.

Our Philosophy

It is the philosophy of Savannah Classical Academy that all students benefit from a rigorous, content-rich, educational program that develops academic potential and personal character. The school provides an environment that fosters academic excellence through the habits of thoroughness, the willingness to work, and the perseverance to complete difficult tasks. Through a defined traditional, Classical-Liberal curriculum students are prepared to become active, responsible members of their community

Rigorous

There are many words synonymous with rigorous. These words include single-minded, steadfast, intractable, unflinching, uncompromising, resolved and firm. All of these words describe not only our academic philosophy but also the characteristics we hope to instill in children that attend Savannah Classical Academy.

We believe that children savor challenge. For example observe children playing video games. They will continue to play and are energized as the game presents more challenges. We want children to embrace and thrive through challenging work. Our goal is to lift children up to their next level of success while equipping them with the skills to be confident uncompromising citizens.
