Kennesaw Charter Science and Math Academy opened in 2003 and is a s a tuition-free Cobb County STEM Charter School. . KCSMA was awarded the Georgia School of Excellence Award in 2012 and continues to close the achievement gap in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math using research-based approaches that are grounded in the understanding of how students learn. Teachers provide quality instruction preparing students for the 21st Century by focusing on Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication, and Collaboration.
