SALARY SCHEDULE: Certified Staff
WORK DAYS: 190 Days
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Early childhood certified teachers to work with students who have a wide range of learning needs. Plan and implement lessons and teach various subjects, such as reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. A solid understanding of the instructional shifts, data, data analysis for lesson planning is essential, along with knowing how to implement effective assessments, differentiation, and individualized instruction are required.
Requirements:
- Certified in Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor’s Degree Minimum Qualification
- Passed GACE
- Clear Criminal Background Check

Job Description: The certified teacher should be qualified in the following areas:
- Assess students’ skills to determine their needs and to develop teaching plans.
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students.
- Plan, organize, and assign activities that promote higher order thinking skills.
- Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups, and one-on-one.
- Utilize student data to inform lesson planning and individualized instruction.
- Effective use of assessments
- Discuss student’s progress with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators.
- Maintain grades and other relevant student information in the student information system.
- Plan and support experiential learning.
- Participate in professional development on and off campus.
- Professionalism required in dress, attitude, and demeanor.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
- Other duties as assigned by the Head of School
