Destiny Academy of Excellence has been awarded a $100,000 grant from AT&T, through the school’s partnership with the DeKalb County Workforce Center. The funds will be used for computers and equipment at the school, which is dedicated to helping potential dropouts get back on track academically.

At the soul of the East Lake model is education and an airy, open and gleaming building where 800 students attend kindergarten through eighth grade.
