Atlanta Heights Charter School hosted its First Annual Real Men Readevent yesterday. The program’s goal was to inspire scholars to make reading a daily habit by demonstrating that fathers, teachers, and other significant men in the community, also love to read.
In addition to Atlanta Heights faculty, participants included members of the Atlanta community and Atlanta Heights Dads. A cadet at The Citadel, the son of one of our teachers, was another male role model who read to children in grades K-2.
