The Walton Family Foundation provides funding to targeted areas only. For Georgia, the target district is The Atlanta Public School System. Walton also provides a limited number of grants for targeted rural areas and areas with limited school choice options.
Schools may apply for a pre-authorization grant up to 18 months prior to submission of their petition. Schools may apply for a post-authorization grant within their first year of operation.
