GCSA is pleased to announce Dr. Ebony McGee as a guest lecturer during the 2022 Georgia Charter Schools Conference. Dr. McGee is a professor of diversity and STEM education at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College. She also recently wrote a book entitled, “Black, Brown, Bruised: How Racialized STEM Education Stifles Innovation.” You can hear Dr. McGee speak on Friday, Feb. 25, as part of the conference Leadership Track. This year’s conference will take place Friday, Feb. 25, Saturday, Feb. 26, and is a hybrid of in-person and virtual content and networking. Day one will be held at Lake Oconee Academy, in Greensboro, Georgia, and day two will be held virtually on the Whova virtual platform.
