Georgia Charter Schools Receive High Graduation Rates

In 2023, fourteen public charter schools were among the Georgia high schools with the highest percentage of four-year graduates. These schools surpassed the state high-school graduation rate, 84.4%, and the averages of the districts within their attendance zones. This year, Georgia’s high-school seniors recorded another historic graduation rate in 2023. The four-year graduation rate rose to 84.4%. That’s up from 84.1% in 2022, and an all-time high since the state began using the adjusted cohort calculation first required to be calculated in 2011 by federal law.
