Amber Singfield is an educator at KIPP Vision Academy who thrives on empowering youth and advocating against the school to jail pipeline.
Those who nominated Ms. Singfield describe her as an educator who goes the extra mile to ensure her scholars succeed. They also say she consistently works to ensure that her lessons are engaging and effective.
“Ms. Singfield helped my daughter grow and move past all imperfections. She taught her to overcome obstacles by tackling them head-on,” says Shayla Reed, a KIPP Vision Academy parent. “Because of Ms. Singfield, my child is escalating past 3-grade levels. I’m so proud to call her our teacher.”
Ms. Singfield received a bachelor’s in Communication and Media Studies and Corporate Communications. She obtained a master’s of Liberal Arts from Baker University.
