Coach Barber, a physical education teacher at Spring Creek Charter Academy, was nominated by multiple parents. Spring Creek families say she works hard to make sure all students are enjoying physical education and goes above and beyond to help student athletes improve.
Coach Barber also started a softball team from scratch and reimagined Field Day so students could take part during COVID-19. According to parents, she stepped up to the plate and planned a Field Day that took place during PE. Students were thrilled they did not have to miss this monumental annual event.
