Please join the Georgia Charter Schools Association for Charter School Advocacy Day at the Georgia Capitol on Thursday, March 15.
This is an opportunity for school leaders, teachers, parents and students to come together to demand equitable funding, suitable facilities and high-quality options for all Georgia students.
Charter school administrators, teachers, board members, parents and supporters are welcome and encouraged to attend. Of course, charter schools from across the state are encouraged to bring a group of six (6) to eight (8) students to participate in this important day. Breakfast, lunch and advocacy training will be provided. If your school needs financial assistance for transportation, GCSA has funding set aside to assist with those expenses.
We have set a goal of having 150 charter school advocates participate in the Advocacy Day. Please help us reach this goal! Please register by Friday, March 2, 2018. Click HERE to sign up.
If you have questions or need assistance, please contact Andrea Arroyo, Vice President of Policy and Advocacy at aarroyo@gacharters.org.
