Georgia Charter Schools Association is thrilled to have been selected as a member of the Policy Innovators in Action (PIE). The PIE Network works to connect state-level education advocacy organizations from across the country to amplify their voices and maximize their impact.
Pie Network members play an important role in K-12 education advocacy within their states. Members collaborate with other local education reform advocates; bring evidence and data to the policy-making process in their states; raise awareness about critical issues facing public schools, including those identified by the Network; engage and mobilize key constituencies in the policy-making process; challenge others to reconsider known problems that no one seeks to change; and bring together diverse interests to come up with forward-looking solutions for difficult challenges.
The PIE Network is made up of 97 advocacy organizations and 24 national partners in 36 states. In Georgia, GCSA joins coalition members GeorgiaCAN and the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education as Network members.
