Join us for GCSA’s March Communications Community of Practice meeting on “Teacher Recruitment.” The virtual meeting will take place on Thursday, March 17, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and is open to school communicators, school leaders and charter school employees in charge of educator recruitment.
The pandemic exacerbated the challenges that school leaders face when recruiting and retaining teachers. Today, schools are facing considerable and unprecedented staff shortages and mid-year resignations. During our March Community of Practice meeting, we will review and share effective practices and resources for recruiting teachers.
GCSA’s March Community of Practice meeting features Emily Bertelli, PLT Strategies Group; Patrice Meadows, Founder, Atlanta SMART Academy; and Michelle Wirth, GCSA’s Senior Director of Communications. The Communications Community of Practice meets monthly to share messaging, best practices, amplify positive stories and change the narrative for public charter schools in Georgia.
