The Georgia Charter Schools Association is excited to relaunch our Board Bank initiative! This program is designed to help every charter school in Georgia identify committed and competent individuals to serve on their governing boards. Charter boards play a critical role in improving student achievement and organizational effectiveness.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking individuals with diverse skill sets and expertise in areas such as:
- Education
- Law
- Finance
- General Business
- Fundraising
- Facilities Management
- Marketing
- Policy
What We’re Offering
To prepare potential board members for service, we are hosting a free, 2-hour Charter School Overview and Effective Governance training. This session will provide foundational knowledge on charter schools and the responsibilities of governance.
Benefits for Attendees:
- Gain the foundational knowledge needed for effective service.
- Be added to GCSA’s list of prospective board members, accessible to member schools.
- Connect with charter schools seeking candidates who align with their needs.
