Georgia Charter Schools Association’s Board of Directors is excited to welcome three new members – Dr. Kim Harrington, Chief of Staff and Associate Vice President for Special Initiatives at the Georgia Institute of Technology; Christopher T. Sanders, Executive Director of East Metro CID and Jessica Story, Senior Manager at Warren Averett.
Harrington will serve on GCSA’s Board Governance and School Success committees; Sanders will join GCSA’s Policy and Advocacy and Finance committees and Story will serve on GCSA’s Advocacy and Policy and Finance Committees.
Meanwhile, two longtime members of GCSA’s Board of Directors have completed their terms of service – Cynthia Kuhlman, Director of Educational Achievement for the CF Foundation and S. Gordon Moore Jr., Executive Director of Student Diversity and Inclusion at the Georgia Institute of Technology. GCSA is grateful for their commitment and expertise. During their tenures, both served three two-year terms. Kuhlman co-chaired GCSA’s Advocacy and Policy Committee and served as a member of GCSA’s Board Governance and Finance committees. Moore chaired GCSA’s Board Governance Committee and was a member of GCSA’s Executive review committee. As they leave GCSA, Kuhlman is joining the board of Purpose Built Schools Atlanta and Moore will become a board member at Charles R. Drew Charter School, where Kuhlman serves as a member and former co-chair.
