Hapeville Charter School Board Appoints New Executive Director
Matthew Lindsey, Ed.S., has been appointed the Executive Director of Hapeville Charter Middle School and Career Academy. Lindsey has a decade of education experience and previously served as a classroom instruction, teacher support coach and Dual Enrollment Director. Under his leadership, nine HCCA students have received Gold medals at state competitions and have achieved national competitor status at SkillsUSA’s National Competition.
Lindsey earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Workforce Education and Development with a Secondary Education emphasis on Secondary from Valdosta State University. He has ten years of experience in education. During this time, he has served in many roles including classroom instructor, teacher support coach, and Dual Enrollment Director.
Lindsey is committed to the success of all students, staff and the HCCA organization. His passion to see every student succeed motivates him to develop staff to reach their greatest potential. He believes Hapeville Charter will grow as one, to reach the schools’ Vision to “Provide an environment that will excite, inspire and transform classes of students into productive life ready individuals capable of, and interested in, working together to enrich their lives and lead future generations.” Lindsey will report to HCCA’s CEO.
Hapeville Charter School is a locally-approved charter school in the Fulton County School System and includes both Hapeville Charter Middle School and Hapeville Charter Career Academy. HCCA is a college preparatory school offering advanced classes. All HCCA students graduate with a college prep diploma.
