The time has come for your voice to be heard! Join GCSA charter school students, parents, school leaders, teachers and community advocates on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, from 8:30 a.m.- 12 p.m., to rally in support of our charter schools. Charter School Advocacy Day provides the charter school community an opportunity to come together and share with their legislators how legislation and the state budget process impact charter school students and families. It also offers charter school students the opportunity to learn how to efficiently and effectively engage with their elected officials.
This event will begin with breakfast at the Georgia Freight Depot Blue Room, directly across from the capitol. Schools interested in participating can qualify for transportation reimbursement. Capacity is capped at 150 so please register ASAP!
If you have questions or concerns, please contact RaShaun Holliman at rholliman@gacharters.org or 614-778-9160. More details will be sent in advance of the event.
