Georgia Charter Schools Association salutes Karelle Williams, a third grade Science teacher at The Main Street Academy.
“She is making a difference at The Main Street Academy because of the passion Mrs. William’s has for science and her students,” says a parent whose daughter was in Ms. Williams’ class three years ago. “I have continued to volunteer for her throughout the years since my daughter left 3rd grade. Mrs. William’s loves all of her current and former students … She is a hands-on teacher, the students really enjoy science and being in her presence. She continues to make a difference in the lives of her current and former students by giving hugs, encouraging them and inquiring about grades in all of their subjects. Mrs. William’s is close to my age, but reminds me of the way teachers cared when I was growing up.”
