Nominate a parent today! GCSA is launching the second round of our grassroots advocacy initiative. As part of our Charter Champions program, GCSA will train 40 “field leads” in the city of Atlanta and an additional 20 “field leads” from charter schools across Georgia.
Charter school parents who are field leads will receive a $1000 stipend for completing the following activities:
- Attend a short two-hour or two one-hour advocacy training session(s).
- Recruit 10 additional parent advocates and redeliver the advocacy training material to those participants.
- Provide GCSA with all associated documentation (training rosters, participant names, contact info., etc.)
