The Georgia Department of Education Office of Whole Child Supports and Strategic Partnerships, in collaboration with Emory University’s PARTNERS Program, is offering an opportunity for school districts in Georgia to address the effects of COVID lockdown while supporting the physical, behavioral, vision, and dental needs of the students in our State. GaDOE is supporting $10,000 for a year of planning, needs assessments, and community engagement. After successfully completing that year, GaDOE is also supporting start-up costs for an SBHC (personnel, medical and office equipment and supplies) and funding for renovating an identified space within the school to house the SBHC.
Please review the following RFP. The application deadline has been extended to September 15, 2022. For further information please contact Ruth Ellis, SBHC Program Specialist, at ruth.ellis@doe.k12.ga.us or at 678.673.9164.
