Schools that are planning to submit a replication petition for the FY23 petition cycle (2024-25 school year opening) must submit a Letter of Intent to the SCSC by 11:59 pm on Monday, December 12, 2022. The replication petition cycle is a rolling timeline and the Letter of Intent allows the SCSC to plan appropriately.
Additional information is available on the SCSC website. Petitioners are not obligated to submit a petition if they submit a Letter of Intent. Any petitioner considering submitting a replication petition in FY23 is strongly encouraged to submit an SCSC Letter of Intent by the deadline. Although the SCSC Letter of Intent seeks specific details regarding an existing school’s plan for replication (e.g., location, grades served, etc.), petitioners are not bound by the contents of the Letter of Intent when submitting their replication petitions.
