On Nov. 16, 2022, the Georgia Department of Education released the 2021-22 CCRPI Content Mastery scores. The data revealed that 76% (28 of 37) of state charter schools met academic standards for the 2021-2022 school year, meaning they outperformed the schools their students would otherwise attend. Ninety-one percent (91%) of state charter school students were enrolled in one of these 28 schools in the 2021-22 school year – totaling 29,683 students.
The 2021-2022 school year is the first year the Georgia Department of Education calculated Content Mastery scores since the 2018-2019 school year, before the COVID-19 pandemic. Congratulations to all state charter schools that have met this academic achievement!
