Congratulations to the Class of 2021! Georgia Charter Schools Association is excited to recognizes Vincent Crosby, a graduate of Tapestry Public Charter School, as an outstanding senior. Crosby was nominated by Katoya Bledsoe, a counselor at Tapestry.
What are the student’s plans after graduation?
Vincent will attend Oglethorpe University to major in Biology/Pre-Med. He has plans to become a Dermatologist.
Why does this student deserve recognition?
Vincent is the Tapestry class of 2021 Salutatorian! Vincent shares that he has a pretty intense fear of failure along with a strong drive to accomplish his goals. That combination has driven him to work very hard and become a high achiever.
How has attending a Georgia public charter school benefited the student?
Vincent says smaller class sizes at Tapestry Public Charter School have allowed him to form closer connections with the teachers and faculty, which contributed to a more individualized education. He is appreciative of the opportunity that Tapestry gave him to be seen as an individual and to feel like a participant and not just a bystander in his education.
