The American Federation for Children invites you to attend Campaign Training School on Saturday, February 22, 2014, in Atlanta! This free training school will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown (275 Baker St NW) from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (EST).
Why run for public office? So you can be a leader in helping students and improving education in your community!
Political action is an essential part of advancing school choice opportunities for children. At the American Federation for Children, we work to elect pro-education reform candidates to state office. Anyone interested in running for state legislature, state and local school boards, mayor, or city council is welcome.
Even if you are not registered to run for office, but have wondered how to run a political campaign or are interested in helping someone, this school is for you, too! At the campaign training school, you’ll not only learn from experts about the basics of how to run a successful campaign for public office, you’ll also learn about how to effectively communicate about school choice policy and educational choice to voters and the news media.
For more information about our training schools, and to RSVP (by Wednesday, February 12th, please) email Brian Pleva at bpleva@federationforchildren.org or call him at 608-279-9484.
