The 2011 National Charter Schools Conference was once again a success, as thousands involved in the charter world — from teachers, administrators, parents and board members to vendors and other service providers — met in Atlanta, June 20-23.
The event was highlighted by keynote addresses by former President Bill Clinton, Newark Mayor Cory Booker and renowned school choice advocate Howard Fuller, who spoke at the Conference’s finale, a rally on the steps of the Georgia Capitol Building.
