International Community School

ICS is one of DeKalb’s first International Baccalaureate Schools. ICS serves 400 K-5th graders from 40 nations and speaking twenty-five languages. Teachers and staff are from 17 countries. The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) enables students to employ an investigative approach to learning. The program aims to develop inquiring knowledgeable and caring young people who help create a better, more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
