For over 30 years, Reinvestment Fund has been a leading lender to K-12 schools with extensive experience investing in schools in all phases of development. We are dedicated to the strong start and smart growth of charter, contract, and other K-12 schools and serve as a long-term financing partner. Last year, we were excited to open an office in Atlanta, Georgia and work with education stakeholders throughout the entire state.
Of Reinvestment Fund’s 100+ K-12 school borrowers, 63 schools were in their first three years of operation at the time of financing and 35 have received multiple rounds of Reinvestment Fund financing.
Our continuum of loan products is designed to meet the needs of K-12 schools at every stage of their life cycle. Loans are structured to support the opening of new schools, organic growth of early stage schools, and expansion or stabilization of mature operators. We continue to support schools with our range of financing products that include the following loan types:
- Startup Charter School Bridge
- Leasehold Improvement Loans
- New Markets Tax Credits & Leverage Loans
- Energy Efficiency
Supporting the creation and expansion of high-quality K-12 schools that improve educational opportunity for low-income communities is core to our mission. The majority of students enrolled at Reinvestment Fund-financed K-12 schools qualify for free- or reduced-price lunch per Title I guidelines.
Reinvestment Fund’s borrowers have the advantage of working with our experienced team. We work closely with our borrowers every step of the way, offering guidance and expertise to make your projects successful.
